FAROUT — LIVE ARTS FESTIVAL
Farout is the furthest celestial body from the Sun. The intention of the festival at BASE Milano in its first (pilot) edition was to observe the Earth from afar and try to look at our planet from a point of view that had never been considered before. Even the visual identity was inspired by this concept. The visual guidelines were designed by Studio Fludd, while I was in charge of creating the social content and applying them to al the signage system and the catalogue, for the years 2021 and 2022.

The second edition of FAROUT Festival developed around the theme of time. In updating the visual identity for the year 2022, Studio Fludd decided to visually refer to the phases of the moon, its cyclical nature, and the ways in which we try to reproduce the inexorable passing of time. To announce FAROUT Live Arts Festival 2022 on the social channels of BASE Milano I designed a poster portraying the time of waiting.
2021 – ARTISTIC ORBITS
The first edition of FAROUT Festival developed around the theme of space. The communication system, in general, was based on questioning the concept of space, deepening it, overturning it, and considering unprecedented experiments in the space of art and performance. I designed three digital posters for the launch campaign on the Instagram channel of BASE Milano.
With Studio Fludd, I participated in designing the setting-up of the exhibitions and performaces. The signs in the space are moderate due to a reduced budget. As you can see, two reclaimed wooden frames support the curatorial text of the festival; a sticker with the title of the work and the author has been placed on the ground near each installation.
