SAME SAME, BUT DIFFERENT
«Same same, but different» is a colloquial expression used in South East Asia to try to sell objects
that are identical copies of an original object. The animated typography video was part of a social
campaign of BASE Milano to communicate the attempt to decanonise and dismantle the hierarchical structures that
produce social standards in arts and culture.
In collaboration with the content editor of BASE Milano, we worked on word binomials that reflected the key concept of the campaign, even in different languages. Only by changing the point of view one thing can become its opposite.
