Espais infinits

The Catalan NGO Òmnium Cultural has commissioned a stand for public events, designed to be compact, modular, and easily transportable.

The entire structure is stored in portable boxes that cleverly serve as structural elements of the stand. They allow flexible configurations, extending the stand’s layout beyond its core frame. The fabric, rolled inside the boxes, can be pulled out to create a canopy.

The textiles provide sun and weather protection while expanding the space and playing with light and shadow. They act as interactive surfaces for social engagement, participation and visibility. Each stand can connect and combine with others, adapting to different needs.

The prototype of the stand was installed at Diagonal del Mar, in the city’s public space, in the presence of the partners of the NGO.

The four boxes contain the entire structure of the stand. Depending on the needs, whether to create shade, seating areas, surfaces for exhibitions, or a bar counter, the setup offers infinite possibilities for spatial expansion.
